Downpipes

Downpipes

The descending pipes that convey the water coming from the gutter channels towards the ground or special drainage channels are called downpipes. They can be placed outside the building, fitting into the aesthetic context of the building, or be placed inside the perimeter walls. the shape is square (now out of use) or circular. The most used sections are 80 and 100 mm, although diameters of 60 mm are frequently found in the case of small porches or canopies. For large surfaces we find 120mm, increasing. The joints between the various elements, between 2 and 4 meters long, are of the socket type, inserted in the direction of water fall. The materials and colors are the same used for the gutters.
